Busca Vida is an up and coming area to live. A 5 km beachfront residential area located between two rivers, with the beach being very private and quiet and used only by residents. There are many fine houses and vacant plots of land to build your own house available here.

Further up north along the 200 km of coconut coast stretching up to Mangue Seco it is a lot less populated and developed with many beautiful virgin beaches protected by reefs, with pure warm ocean waters, lagoons and sand dunes, providing beautiful coastal seascapes, ecological reserves, immense natural areas and coconut groves waiting to be discovered. Praia do Forte
This perfect 12km stretch of beach is thickly lined with palm trees, and the clear blue waters reveal coral reefs and natural pools at low tide. Known as the "Brazilian Polynesia", Praia do Forte also offers an excellent infrastructure with many inns and large resorts.

The beach is excellent for snorkeling, diving and other nautical sports such as sailing, swimming, and wind surfing.
The Tamar sea turtle project, national headquarters is here. They nurse the just hatched tortoises, later to be released into the sea.


The village is part of an urbanization project that seeks to preserve the primitive flora and fauna found in the area. Around the village are lagoons, small streams and waterfalls.
On a hilltop overlooking the village are the ruins of the only medieval castle built in South America—Castelo dos Garcia d’Ávilay.
Also nearby is Sapiranga Reserve a tropical Atlantic rainforest.

Guarajuba

It is a very peaceful village offering an excellent year round climate.The village square is where it all happends.There are miles of deserted beaches,its great for diving,snorkeling and wind surfing.
Monte Gordo, about 5 minutes away is elavated with some great views.There are a lot of small farms in this region.A good location for a holiday home.
Imbassai
The river Imbassai runs parallel to 6 km of beaches surrounded by high dunes , making it possible to swim in either fresh or saltwater. The access to the beaches is only possible for pedestrians, thanks to the rivers that form a natural obstacle for cars.
The village is situated in the "Linha Verde Environmental Protection Area", which is located 64km from Salvador and only 13km from Praia do Forte.
Reserva Imbassai is now being developed including a Breezers SuperClub hotel and golf course.We have many property options here ,due for completion 2008.

Costa do Sauipe
Costa do Sauipe is located some 70 km from the International Airport of Salvador.
Costa do Sauipe was opened in Jan. 2001, featuring five hotels - a Marriott's, two Sofitels, a Renaissance, and a Breezes Superclub, plus PGA golf course, spa, equestrian centre, helipad etc.
This stretch of coast is very beautiful thanks to a combination of beaches, dunes and lagoons.
There are some 15 million square meters of land earmarked for developement.There will be many investement oportunities arising over the next few years.

More and more new developments are being planned over the next few years as the motorway has opened this vast region up and the city is expanding northwards. The state is being careful to preserve local ecosystems. Now is a good time to buy as there is still a lot of coastal land available at very low prices.
